Our Foundation is Built on 20+ Years of Experience
Asian Resource Group was founded in 2000 by Robert F. Brown. As a US owned company, we established our Taiwan Branch Office in 2001 to leverage manufacturing resources throughout Asia. For over 23 years, Asian Resource Group has helped western clients to develop private label products and manage their manufacturing supply chains, as well as working with Taiwan firms seeking to expand their business lines into Western markets. In 2020, Asian Resource Group completed the acquisition of its own branded product line in the outdoor products industry under the name Smith Creek. Smith Creek products are currently sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
Robert F. Brown, Founder
Having first traveled to Asia in 1993, Robert's experience with manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain management spans over 3 decades. Since founding Asian Resource Group in 2020, Robert has helped dozens of international clients ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies to achieve their business goals. Past projects include the establishment of greenfield manufacturing sites in China, as well as a number of transfer manufacturing projects involving captive IP and proprietary manufacturing methods. Robert has been a featured speaker at numerous industry trade events and is a 2020 recipient of the Golden Summit Award for contributions to Taiwan business.
