Asian Resource Group was founded in 2000 by Robert F. Brown.
In 2020, Asian Resource Group completed the acquisition of its own captive product line in the outdoor products industry under the Smith Creek brand name. Smith Creek products are currently sold in over 30 countries worldwide.
Robert F. Brown, Founder
Having first traveled to Asia in 1993, Robert's experience with manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain management spans over 3 decades. Since founding Asian Resource Group in 2020, Robert has helped dozens of international clients, ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies, to achieve their business goals. Past projects include the establishment of greenfield manufacturing sites in China, as well as a number of transfer manufacturing projects involving captive IP and proprietary manufacturing methods. Robert has been a featured speaker at numerous industry trade events and is a 2020 recipient of the Golden Summit Award for contributions to Taiwan business.
